QUIET RETREAT ON CALDERWOOD NECK

This recently renovated cottage had its roof raised, giving it three bedrooms and another full bath. This home is simply furnished fitting in well with the serenity of its location on a tidal inlet off of Mill River. It's a great place to launch kayaks and paddle down to Mill River and enjoy the tranquil waters, (just don't get caught by the ebbing tide, then you'll have to haul out at the Carrying Place Bridge, just a fraction of a mile down the road from the house.) There is a huge granite fireplace in the living room to get cozy next to with your sweetheart or your kids. The new kitchen has all the modern amenities including a dishwasher and beautiful pink, white and black granite counter tops. Also on the first floor, there is a bedroom with a double bed as well as a full bath with stall shower. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed that overlooks the stream, the other with 2 twin beds. There is also a small loft above the living room that could accommodate a kid or two in sleeping bags. There is also another full bath with stall shower. Off the living room is a deck that offers a great view of the stream and connecting to it and off the dining area, is a screened in porch. There is a futon in the living room for an extra guest. Sleeps 6-8, TV, no cable, CD player and washing machine. Sorry, no pets. There is a new dock to hang out on. $1200/week.
