VINALHEAVEN, “THE JEWEL OF THE ISLAND”

This brand new, custom built chalet and deck is perched upon one of the highest points in the Fox Islands. The top of Middle Mountain, Vinalhaven’s highest point, affords panoramic views of approximately 60 miles of Maine coastline including the Camden Hills State Park and the lighthouses at Rockland and Owls Head.

Overlooking the neighboring island of North Haven with its quaint village and easily accessible public golf course, you'll be surrounded by 100 acres of uninhabited private land and town park with miles of marked hiking trails and access to a private dock and float on Crocket Cove below.

As you enter the Great Room with its Cathedral ceiling your are greeted by the combination Kitchen/Living area. Amenities and a comfortable seating area for reading, writing or entertaining. The TV includes built in VCR and DVD, the stereo system has AM/FM, cassette and CD changer. The kitchen has a dishwasher.

The first floor bathroom and shower features a convenient washer and drier. The private first floor queen size bedroom is located behind the spiral staircase that leads upstairs to the loft with its king size bed, convertible to two twins.  At the end of the day you can relax on the oversize deck and have full use of the gas grille and lobster cooker as you share the company or our resident Osprey and Bald Eagles.

Not suitable for smokers, pet lovers or small children.
